- GREAT NORTHERN BEANS
Great Northern beans are medium sized, white, flat and kidney-shaped. Great northern beans will take on flavors of other foods with which they are cooked. They are popular in France in cassoulet (a white bean casserole) and in the U.S. The majority of great northern production is in Nebraska.
